I'm passionate about the Local Food /Slow Food movement. I believe a strong local community is key to the New Economy! I live to garden, (organically) and play in the dirt.

I am living a sustainable life-style - or rather, an increasingly sustainable life-style! (still learning!)

I manage social media marketing/PR accounts for small business and non-profits and teach seminars on the subject.

I was blessed to grow up on the Shoreline of CT. I had wonderful parents that gave me an idyllic childhood in which I ran barefooted all summer through fields of dandelions, played in a stream, climbed tree's and beat up the boys.

I'm a DJ on 89.1 WBCX Brenau University's station -My show is: New Driven Radio - all independent rock!

I hug tree's, Love my family and friends and am blessed to know the most wonderful people on the planet. I truly know THE BEST people.

I'm a wylde chylde and I never grew up. Most people call me a Free Spirit. You can try, but you won't be able to catch me, cuz I'm faster than you :)

I Crave pecans and peanuts and Snow Crab legs.

I believe Cinnamon is an amazing healing agent and that everyone should eat a little virgin coconut oil every day.

Mari Smith on MTB Radio 11/18 by Marketing Technology | Blog Talk Radio →

Pretty cool interview with Mari Smith. She comes across a little too cheery - in a fake, kinda forced way….but there’s still some good content here so try to bear with the fact that she tries too hard!

Regardless of the fact that today’s temps will not climb out of the 50s….Spring is here in north Georgia and my gardens have already begun to grow.  Peas, onion, broccoli, radishes, red romaine, chard and potatoes are all planted.  My tomatoes and peppers are in their starter cups and I bring them inside each day around 5ish.
I’m excited!

It is said that north Georgia gets snow on Christmas Day about once every 130 years. 2010 was that year.

Magical footage of north Georgia under the snow.

Social Media is NOT a Field of Dreams.
“If you build it, they will come” doesn’t work in social media.  Your small business or non-profit need to create a strategy and plan of action in order to find those in your community who want and need your services.
